Episode 107: Climb Injury Free Pt. 2 | Strength and Movement with Dr. Jared Vagy

With all the information out there on training, rehabbing, and performance, it’s tough to know where to start when you’re injured. Dr. Jared Vagy developed a system that makes that process much simpler, and lays out a much clearer path to healing.

Technically, this is Part 2 and 3. If you haven't listened to Part 1, Episode 88, you should do that. You can find it HERE. In that episode, we go over Mobility - the first step in his Rock Rehab Pyramid - a system of preventing and rehabbing climbing injuries.

In this episode I sit down with Jared at the CWA to discuss the 2nd and 3rd steps - Strength and Movement.

Kris Hampton

A climber since 1994, Kris was a traddie for 12 years before he discovered the gymnastic movement inherent in sport climbing and bouldering.  Through dedicated training and practice, he eventually built to ascents of 5.14 and V11.

Kris started Power Company Climbing in 2006 as a place to share training info with his friends, and still specializes in working with full time "regular" folks.  He's always available for coaching sessions and training workshops.
